In Chapter 5 of 1 Thessalonians The Apostle Paul writes to the Thessalonian Christians to strengthen them in their faith He says, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing" 1 Thess 5:11 Paul gives other examples of how we might encourage others: What a blessing it is to encourage others! And to be encouraged... Heavenly! Are you at a place in your life where you desire encouragement? How may we help you? Share your thoughts with us Have you encouraged someone, or are you willing, To encourage others? Want to encourage a friend? Here is a thought! Go out and purchase a nice greeting card or better yet make one, it's easy! Write something nice in it but not just hope you are having a nice day! Think of something specific your friend did or said Like singing in church, Helping someone with groceries, Playing in a drama Something that you really experienced... Be specific! Send it to them in the mail and see what happens... We are sure you will be blessed in return, but remember: This is all about encouraging your friend... |
